ACES Team Advance to State Competition

Congratulations to the ACES team for taking 1st place at the Kaskaskia Regional in February! In biology Gracie Nelson took first place, second place went to Nora Wood, and in third place was John Schaller. In chemistry, first place was Gracie Nelson, second place was Kylie Buehler and Briley Rhodes, with Joe Jansen in third place. In English, Nora Wood took first place, and Kylie Buehler, Thor Gavin, and Sarah Cook took second. Math was first place Ace Bruck and third place Joe Jansen. In physics, first place went to Ace Bruck and second place went to Zoe Todd. Computer Science had Olivia Wiese in first place and Tyson Thompson in third. Lastly, Engineering Graphics had Olivia Wiese and Tyson Thompson in second place. 

They competed Friday, March 4 in sectionals and took second place overall, and advanced to the state competition on April 6th. Gracie Nelson placed first in biology with John Schaller in second and Jared Juenger in third. In Chemistry, Grant Schleifer placed second. Physics had Ace Bruck in first place and Zoe Todd in second. In English, Nora Wood placed second. Lastly, in Math, Joe Jansen placed third. Good job ACES team, and good luck at state!
