So far, the Jr. Lady Rocket Softball team is undefeated.  On Thursday, August 18, 2022, the Jr. Lady Rockets played the Waltonville Lady Spartans at Waltonville and won 10-0.  The Jr. Lady Rockets secured the victory when they scored six runs in the third inning.  Schae Juenger threw a  shutout allowing one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven.  The Jr. Lady Rockets racked up 11 hits in the game.  Brynn Rhodes led the Jr. Lady Rockets with four hits in four at-bats.  

Following that week the Jr. Lady Rockets faced Mascoutah at home and won 6-0.  Brynn Rhodes, Kenley Hackstadt, and Addi Hasheider knocked in runs in the fourth inning.  Kenley Hackstadt pitched that day for the Jr. Lady Rockets.  Hackstadt went seven innings, allowing zero runs, allowing two hits, and striking out nine.  The Jr. Lady Rockets totaled nine hits.  Addi Hasheider, Lilly Cragen, and Schae Juenger all collected multiple hits for the Jr. Lady Rockets.  Hasheider went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Jr. Lady Rockets in hits.  The Jr. Lady Rockets didn’t commit a single error in the field.

The Jr. Lady Rockets’ next game was at Carlyle on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, vs the Carlyle Lady Indians.  The Jr. Lady Rockets earned the victory with a score of 15-2.  The Jr. Lady Rockets scored five runs in the fourth inning.  Lilly Cragen pitched for the Jr. Lady Rockets and she allowed five hits and two runs while striking out six and walking one.  The Jr. Lady Rockets collected 15 hits on the day.  Addi Hasheider and Brynn Rhodes each collected three hits to lead the Jr. Lady Rockets.

The Jr. Lady Rockets’ record is now 6-0.  Good luck to them as they continue on with their season!
