This year there are 10 freshmen playing volleyball. They are Emma Borgmann, Kate Borrenpohl, Jaelyn Going, Lillian Helbig, Aubrey Krieger, Brecklyn Rennegarbe, Madisyn Rennegarbe, Carly Schmidt, Rylan Senior, and Caroline Tepe. 

The freshman volleyball team opened up their season on Monday, August 22. The season opener was at Greenville. The freshman battled but lost in 3 sets. They played the first set well with lots of great hits. They won the first set 21-14, they lost the second set 13-21, and in the third set, they lost 8-15. 

On Thursday, August 25, they played Nashville they lost to Nashville in 2 sets, but Nashville was a tough, good team. They lost the first set 11-21, and they also lost the second set 18-21. 

Then, on September 6th, they played Red Bud. They again lost in two sets, the first set was 9-21 and the second set was 15-21.
