The Patriot’s Pen essay is an essay written by students in sixth, seventh, and eighth all across the United States. This essay allows kids to voice their opinion on how they plan to show their appreciation for veterans. This year’s writing prompt was, “My pledge to veterans.” 

The winners this year were Elly Hesker (First Place), Brynn Rhodes (Second Place), and Maddy Dulle (Third Place). The nationwide winner was Syed Ali from Lafayette, Louisiana. Congratulations to all the Patriot’s Pen winners!
