The camp that the little girls have been waiting for, the grade school cheer camp! The cheer coach for the high school cheerleaders is Kaly Huge.
The camp was only for two days. It was on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 in the evening and Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening. They cheered at the boys’ varsity game at halftime on Saturday. Madelyn Epplin and Alyssa Statler helped the kindergarteners. The cheerleaders helping the first graders were Bella Muniz, Payton Meier, and Alivia Cochran. Sidney Charles and Addysen Rennegarbe helped the third graders. The cheerleaders who helped the fourth and fifth graders were Julia Helbig and Lexi Jarden.
Freshman cheerleader Bella Muniz said “I had a lot of fun with the first graders and my favorite part about the camp was playing games with the little kids. They were a challenge and a struggle but in the end, we all had fun and that’s all that matters.”
