On Thursday, January 25, the Lady Rocket Basketball team played Chester. The Lady Rockets defeated Chester 74-24. Alayna Kraus was the lead scorer for Okawville with 22 points, followed by Caroline Tepe with 10 points, Brynn Rhodes and Raelyn Obermeier scored 9 points each, Madisyn Wienstroer had 8, Jenna Hackstadt scored 7, Maggie Sawicki and Kenley Hackstadt both had 3 points each, Mallory Bening scored 2, and Brecklyn Rennegarbe chipped in 1. Madisyn Wienstroer finished with 8 steals.
On Monday, January 29, the Lady Rockets battled against the Carlyle Lady Indians and fell short with a score of 56-49. The lead scorer for Okawville was Alayna Kraus with 25 points, followed by Caroline Tepe and Raelyn Obermeier who collected 8 points each, Kenley Hackstadt and Madisyn Wienstroer finished with 3 points each, and Brynn Rhodes chipped in 2.
On Wednesday, January 31, the Lady Rockets faced the Mater Dei Lady Knights. It was a tough game for the Lady Rockets as they lost 55-40. Alayna Kraus was the lead scorer for the Lady Rockets with 12 points, right behind her was Madisyn Wienstroer with 11 points, Raelyn Obermeier contributed 6, Caroline Tepe and Brynn Rhodes each had 4, and Jenna Hackstadt finished with 3.
The following night, the Lady Rockets took on Sparta at home. The Lady Rockets defeated the Bulldogs 65-29. The lead scorer for Okawville was Alayna Kraus with 17 points, followed by Kenley Hackstadt with 14 points, Madisyn Wienstroer had 9, Brynn Rhodes scored 6, Jenna Hackstadt had 5, Caroline Tepe and Schae Juenger each scored 4 points, Adysen Harre, Jilien Harre, and Addison Hasheider scored 2 points each.
