The SAT is a state-required test determining scholarships and dual credit within Okawville High School. Juniors must diligently study with Mr. Laughlin, Mrs. Donovan, and other teachers on SAT nights throughout the weeks leading up to the test. These days vary, and the students can decide how hard they will work to get a higher score. Throughout the weeks, the nights can be from seven to nine or six-thirty to eight-thirty. Students who play baseball and softball come after games sometimes, showing faculty their dedication to working to score high on the SAT. These nights started in March and will end in April after the SAT, which will take place on April 9th.
