On Tuesday, September 3, the Okawville Boys Varsity had a golf match at Chester against Chester, Red Bud, and New Athens. As a team the boys got 3rd and shot 169. Parker Wiese shot a 38, Hayden Heintz shot a 42, Braylen Turner shot a 44, Caleb Hagarty shot a 45, Teren Schwankhaus shot a 46, and Reid Hemann shot a 60. Parker Wiese tied for 1st for the match with 3 other boys. Then, on Thursday, September 5, the boys played at Nashville against Nashville, Mater Dei, and Belleville West. The boys got 4th place and as team shot 181. Parker Wiese shot a 41, Hayden Heintz shot a 45, Teren Schwankhaus shot a 46, Braylen Turner shot a 49, Caleb Hagarty shot a 54, and Bennett Schuetz shot a 60. Next week, the boys play Tuesday at home vs New Athens, then on Wednesday, they play Mascoutah at home, and on Thursday at Nashville.
On Tuesday, September 3, the Okawville Girls had a match at home vs Mater Dei and Central. As a team, Okawville got 3rd and shot 194. Bella Muniz shot a 45, Lilly Cragen shot a 48, Kaylie Behrman shot a 50, Delany Kuhn shot a 51, Kaylyn Cragen shot a 60, and Lily Helbig shot a 65. Then, on Thursday, September 5, Okawville Girls golf played at home again aganist Columbia, Freeburg, and Mater Dei. As a team, Okawville got 2nd and shot a 183. Bella Muniz shot a 42, Lily Helbig shot a 44, Kaylie Behrman shot a 48, Kaylyn and Lilly Cragen tied for a 49, and Delaney shot a 57. Next week, the girls have 4 matches. On Monday, the girls play at Carlyle, on Tuesday they play at Gibault, on Wednesday the 11th they play at Nashville, and on Thursday they play at Centralia.
