We welcome one new teacher to the the Jr. High side of the school. Mr. Beau Barkau is the new teacher. He is the former 6th grade teacher from the grade school. He taught math all three years, he taught social studies for 2 years, and he taught science for one year. Mr. Barkau said that Jr. High is a big difference from 6th grade. Mr. Barkau teaches 7th grade and 8th grade math and social studies, math supports, and a high school study hall. Mr. Barkau says “ The class time is very different because students are leaving as soon as the bell rings. That’s different from last year because I could finish the lesson.” He has said many times that he enjoys teaching.
