The Lady Rockets softball season is coming to a start with their first practice just happening this week. Their first game is March 13th versus Centralia.  The coaches for this year’s team are Aaron Tebbe and Chris Goforth. I asked Coach Tebbe how he hopes this season will go. He answered, “I hope we will win more games than last year.” Last year the Lady Rockets only won four games.  

The team also lost three seniors from last year’s team. The softball team this year has 14 players on the roster. The seniors are Lauren Heckert, Abby Riechmann, Kathryn Lohman, and Kymberly Schmitt. The juniors are Megan Schleifer, Marlee Frederking, and Grace Foster. Sophomores are Chloe Kraus, Sevanah Hackstadt, Bryleigh Prest, and Shaye Sawicki. The freshmen on this year’s team are Alyssa Gavin, Elli Kremmer, and Sydney Tebbe. Good luck Lady Rockets on a successful season!!
