The Okawville Rockets baseball team has gotten off to quite the hot start. They had won their first four games of the season against some pretty tough teams. They beat Pinckneyville, Rockford, Wesclin, and Trico. After that, they lost to Valmeyer and Mascoutah. Through their first nine games, they had achieved a solid record of 7-2. This has been an abnormal start to the season for them. Last year, through their first nine games, the team had a tough 1-8 record. As the schedule begins to head towards the middle of the season, the Rockets plan to build off of their hot start. Regionals is getting closer and closer within every game. Although until then, the Rockets plan on taking it one game at a time.
