Girls Cross Country continues improvement

The girl’s cross country team had two meets this past week.  The first one was the Chester Invitational. Megan Cook got 4th with the time of 21:05, Cindy Snyder got 14th with the time of 22:01, Chloe Tepe got 20th with the time of 22:27, Megan Rennegarbe got 41st with the time of 25:08, Amy Koch got 58th with the time of 27:09, and Tricia Rennegarbe got 81st with the time of 33:20.  The girls at Chester got 5th out of 8 teams. Coach Val said, “The entire team’s times keep going up throughout the season and I can’t wait for their improved times in postseason!” 

 The second meet this past week was a new meet for Okawville.  The team went to the Trenton Invitational which was held at the Wesclin High School.  Megan Cook got 2nd with the time of 20:54, Cindy Snyder got 6th with the time of 22:15, Chloe Tepe got 7th with the time of 22:17, Megan Rennegarbe got 20th with the time of 24:57, Amy Koch got 26th with the time of 25:58, and Tricia Rennegarbe got 39th with the time of 33:58.
