Girls’ Cross Country Competes at Benton

The Girl’s Cross Country team had one meet this past week, which was the Benton Invitational.  It is one of the biggest meets that Okawville goes to throughout the season. There was a total of 114 runners in the varsity race for girls. Megan Cook got 8th with the time of 19:41, Cindy Snyder got 22nd with the time of 20:45, Chloe Tepe got 30th with the time of 21:26, Megan Rennegarbe got 59th with the time of 23:23, Amy Koch got 72nd with the time of 24:42, and Tricia Rennegarbe got 112th with the time of 32:27. The girls placed 7th out of 13 teams. Megan Rennegarbe, a varsity runner said, “It was a very big meet and the course was muddy but I think our team did very well.”
