On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, the American Red Cross and the OHS Student Council teamed up to host the annual fall blood drive in the Luechtefeld Gym.  This is one of the two blood drives they put on in the year. There is also one in the spring. This year’s fall blood drive provided about 40 pints. Marlee Frederking volunteered the whole school day.  I asked her what she likes about working the blood drive. Frederking replied, “I enjoy working the blood drive because it gives me the feeling of giving back. I enjoy volunteering my time.” Thank you to everyone who donated or attempted to donate.  Another big thank you to the Student Council and the American Red Cross for volunteering for a great cause!
