The Fall Classic of America’s Favorite Pastime is upon us. The 2017 World Series. Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Houston Astros. American League vs. National League. Series is tied 1-1. LA Dodgers take game 1, winning 3-1. The Dodgers rallied behind ace pitcher, Clayton Kershaw, with home runs from Chris Taylor and Justin Turner, to shut down the Astros. Houston Astros take game 2, winning 7-6 in extra innings. The game kept the viewers interested in an extra inning thriller. George Springer, Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa combined to go 7 for 17 with three home runs. The Houston Astros worked inning by inning to claim a game 2 victory. There were five extra inning home runs this game, which is astounding because only 17 have ever been recorded in world series history. Pick your team. Let’s go ….!
