On April 2nd, the OHS Spanish IV class will be going to St. Louis to the Hispania American Show. This show is hosted by the Hispanic Ballet Flamenco, a company that travels the world putting on shows full of dancing and music. So far, they have shows planned in 26 different states in America during the 2024 spring season. Through the show, the students will get to experience different cultures of Hispanic America, Spain, Argentina, and Puerto Rico. The performance will include several different types of dances originating in those regions including the salsa, ballet folklorico, cuban, chacarera, and the tango. The students will also get to interact with the performers, and go on stage to dance with them. After the show, the Spanish IV class will enjoy a Mexican lunch together.
