On April 25, Okawville held a prom at the Community Club. The junior class was in charge of prom. The prom committee decided on the theme of Arabian Nights. Prom was held from 8-11 P.M. It was a great time for friends just to have fun, dance, and sing all night. After prom was over, most of the students went over to the school for after prom. After prom started around 12:00 A.M. and ended around 5 A.M., they got to play trivia, and after trivia was over, they played games around the gym for about an hour and a half. After the games were over, a hypnotist came in, and about 20 students went on stage to get hypnotized. After that, all students received prizes based on the points they earned from the games they played. Everyone had such a great time.
