OHS Girls’ Basketball Has Kicked Off Their Season

The OHS Lady Rockets basketball team has started its season. They started official practices on Nov 4th. The members on Varsity are senior; Jenna Hackstadt, juniors; Caroline Tepe, Brecklyn Rennegarbe, and Carly Schmidt, sophomores; Brynn Rhodes, Jilien Harre, Kenley Hackstadt, Addison Hasheider, Schae Juenger, and Kaylie Behrman, freshman; Sophia Going and Taylor Statler. The members of JV are juniors; Carly Schmidt, Brecklyn Rennegarbe, Kate Borrenpohl, and Lily Helbig, sophomores; Schae Juenger, Kaylie Behrman, Delaney Kuhn, Laney Hundelt, freshman; Sophia Going, Taylor Statler, Trista Behrman, Elly Hesker, Katelyn Gogoleck, Emma Hokeness. They had two weeks to practice before their first game. The first game was on November 21 against Centralia in the Nashville Thanksgiving Tournament. On Friday, November 22, they played Nashville. The following Tuesday, they will play Mascoutah. Based on how those games go, they will play Wednesday for either the Championship, 3rd place, or 5th place game. After the tournament, they don’t have their first regular season game until December 3rd at Woodlawn.  Good luck to the Lady Rockets this season!
