On Tuesday, March 3, the high school track and field team began practices for both boys and girls. This year, the team includes (seniors) Ryker Obermeier, Jack Schuetz, Landen Shubert, James d’Entremont, Caroline Tepe, Maddie Rennegarbe, (juniors) Zayden Cepeda, Gabe Charles, Kaydence Gesiriech, Sophia Wood, (sophomores) Bryce Albers, Aaron Downey, Ethan Hewitt, Amari Leatherwood, Bennett Schuetz, Hunter Smith, Katie Gogolek, Emma Hokeness, Kinley Mueller, Taylor Statler, Kaylee Wolf, (freshman) Brett Henderson, Ransom Lugge, Lily Gass, Brooklyn Meier, Lucy Pille, Lydia Waltrip, and Skylar Wilfong. They are coached by DeAnna Holm, Jackson Pierce, and Eric Charles. The Okawville Rockets’ first meet is scheduled for March 24th at Red Bud High School.
