On Tuesday, January 28, the boys’ basketball team played in the Luechtefeld Gymnasium versus the Marissa Meteors. The Rockets took the victory 61-44. Aidan Anderson was the lead scorer with 25 points. Braylen Turner had 14 points, followed by Landen Shubert with 8 points. John Schaller finished with 6 points, Ryker Obermeier had 5, and Calvin Maynard contributed 3 points.
The Rockets’ next game was the following night at Red Bud. The Rockets defeated Red Bud 61-46. Aidan Anderson led the Rockets with 36 points, John Schaller contributed 7, Landen Shubert and Ryker Obermeier had 6 points each, Braylen Turner finished with 4 points, and Calvin Maynard chipped in 2.
Then, they traveled to Chester on Friday, January 31. The Rockets won 44-35. Aidan Anderson was the lead scorer with 13 points. Landen Shubert had 9 points, Ryker Obermeier finished with 8 points, Calvin Maynard contributed 6, John Schaller scored 5 points, and Parker Wiese chipped in 3.
The following day, the Rockets faced Lebanon at home. JV started at 1 p.m., and varsity followed after the little cheerleaders. The Rockets took the victory 85-52. Aidan Anderson led the Rockets with 42 points, followed by Landen Shubert with 25, Ryker Obermeier had 5, Calvin Maynard scored 4 points, and Parker Wiese, Kaden Buehler, and Ayden Foley all had 3 points each.
The Rockets’ next game was Tuesday, February 4, at home against Freeburg. Hopefully, they continue their winning streak!
