On February 13, 5 FFA members were interviewed to get their State Degree. The members were Kate Borrenpohl, Abby Brennfleck, Lily Helbig, Hunter Kolweier, and Braxton Rennegarbe. For the interview, members had to prepare their record books and memorize questions to be asked in front of several judges. During the interview, the judges ask questions about their different record books and their knowledge in FFA. The members traveled to the Bullpen in New Athens for their interview. Their interview lasted about 5-10 minutes, and they had familiar Ag teachers asking them the questions. For them to move on and get their degree, they had to meet several requirements and make sure their record books were all in check and perfect. All 5 FFA members were recommended to get their State Degree, but still had to be approved by the state. These 5 members will walk the stage and receive their State Degrees at the State Convention in June. Congrats and good luck to these 5 members!
