On December 10, Caroline Tepe committed to Western Kentucky University for Track and Cross Country. She will continue her athletic and academic career there. Tepe excels in both track and cross-country, marking an epic achievement for her. Her commitment shows years of hard work, dedication, and support from her family, coaches, and teammates. When asked what she is most excited about as she transitions to collegiate competition, Tepe replied, “I am most excited about this transition to the collegiate level to learn new things/techniques while making lifelong friends along the way with my new teammates, not only am I excited about learning new things I’m really excited to see my full potential as I start training at collegiate level.” She also left some advice to younger runners. Tepe stated, “My advice to young runners is to enjoy every run and to remember that your hard work pays off. Never give up and always tell yourself “you can” because many people aren’t aware of the mental toughness you have to have for this sport.” Caroline is super excited to attend WKU in the fall to meet new people and to grow as a person. Everyone is incredibly proud of her, and she is truly blessed to have this opportunity. Good luck, Caroline, as you continue to accomplish your goals!
