On December 21, Okawville held the Special Olympics basketball tournament. Some students assisted during the event, including the Student Leadership Team and the National Honor Society, which helped with clocks and scoreboards. For the event, the tournament began at 9:00 a.m. and concluded at 1:00 p.m., providing a valuable learning experience for the students who attended. This is only one of the many Special Olympics events our school has hosted. Okawville High School is a proud supporter of the Special Olympics program and passes that along to its students.
