On February 3rd, the Okawville Rockets faced off against the Freeburg Midgets. In the first quarter, the Midgets took the lead, scoring 21 points while the Rockets scored only 12. In the second quarter, the Rockets started their comeback, scoring 15 and trailing by only 3 at halftime. In the third quarter, the Rockets took back the lead, scoring 21 in the third quarter while Freeburg only scored 14. In the final quarter, the Rockets kept and expanded their lead and ended the game with a win of 67-61. The Rockets’ leading scorer was Braylen Turner with 27 points. Also contributing to the score were Landen Shubert with 12, Ayden Foley and Ryker Obermeier with 11, and Clay Maynard with 6.
