The 8th-grade volleyball team placed first in the Pinckneyville “For the Love of the Game” tournament, which was held on Saturday, February 14. They played a total of three games, each one being played in two sets.
The Jr Rockets first played the Woodlawn Warriors. They beat them in two sets. The next competitor was Pinckneyville. They beat them in two sets. After winning both of these games, the Jr Lady Rockets played for the championship against the ASA Saints. They won in two sets. Congratulations to the 8th-grade team for placing first in this tournament! They also have a tournament coming up on March 7 at Sparta.
