The ACT is a standardized test used for college admissions and scholarship decisions across the United States. It measures four core areas: English, Math, Reading, and Science. To prepare for the test, students can attend ACT prep nights held by Mrs. Donovan, Mr. Laughlin, and other teachers who help guide students to success and prepare them for the ACT. The test is held on April 8th, with prep nights leading up to the test. The prep nights are March 10, from 6-8; March 17, from 6-8; March 19, from 7-9; March 30, from 6-8; and April 2, from 1-3. If a junior attends 3 of the 5 sessions, he/she will be allowed to leave as soon as testing is complete. If a junior attends 4 out of the 5 sessions, he/she will be allowed to leave as soon as testing is complete AND have off-campus lunch in Okawville on a date set by Mr. Rakers. If a junior attends all 5 sessions, he/she will be allowed to leave as soon as testing is complete, have off-campus lunch, and arrive late to school on Monday April, 27. Good luck to all students taking the test!
