The annual SPLART Night, hosted by the Art Club, was held on March 11th. Although it was held later than usual this year, it was more successful than the previous years. 135 kids attended, creating a new record for SPLART Night. Due to it being held later this year, in March rather than February, the theme was centered around St. Patrick’s Day. To follow this theme, there were St. Patrick’s day-themed paintings and a Leprechaun, named Paddy, running around causing trouble. Approximately 20 high school Art Club members helped run the event, bringing paint, supplies, and snacks to the children. Mr. Kramer, the teacher in charge of Art Club and SPLART Night, said, “I think it went great. The best ever!!!” The Art Club plans to keep running this annual event, hoping for continued success and great memories. As Mr. Kramer says, “Art is awesome!”
