The Girls’ Jr. High Cross Country team placed 9th at the DuQuin State Fair Grounds for the State meet. The State meet was on Saturday, October 18. The Rockets’ overall placings were Jayleigh Cooley (53rd) and Emma Gray (54th). Other finishers were Korrynn Schutte (62nd), Amelia Riechmann (77th), Cambrie Hesker (100th), Aubrey Charles (129th), and Aubrey Lange (141st). There were 150 girls in the race. Caden Capecchii also qualified for State as an individual. He placed 122nd out of 150 boys. The Junior Rockets had an outstanding season, and we are very proud of all of the runners. Great job, Rockets, on a great season!
