The girls’ 7th and 8th-grade basketball teams kicked off the season at Freeburg on October 21. The final score of the 7th-grade game was 21-32. The 8th-grade team was also able to defeat Freeburg 36-11. The girls’ 7th- and 8th-grade basketball teams also played at home against Sparta on October 22. The final score of the 7th-grade game was 27-6. The 8th-grade team was able to pull out another win with a score of 39 to 8. Both 7th and 8th grade teams have started their season 2-0.
