On Friday, October 31, in the morning, the Educator’s Rising members had a bake sale at school. This was the second time the Educator’s Rising sold food at school, with the event beginning only just last year. This was extremely successful when they last did it, and the Educator’s Rising members had decided it would be a good idea to continue. A few of the items that were sold include: cake pops, cinnamon rolls, sugar cookies, pancakes, sweet tea, and water, but there was much more as well. All items were either $1.00 or 0.50¢. In the morning, they earned around $150. However, after the morning, the rest of the food was sold in Mrs. Furhman’s classroom the next few days, each item being 0.50¢. At this time, they are still being sold and do not have an official total amount earned.
