On Monday, October 27, the Varsity Lady Rockets Volleyball started their post-season at St. Elmo High School with a dominating regional win over Sandoval. The first set they came out strong, winning 25-6, the second set was another strong set with the Varsity Lady Rockets taking the win over Sandoval 25-9. Advancing to the next round of regionals, the Varsity Lady Rockets played on Wednesday, October 29, and took another regional win over Farina South Central. Although it was a harder-fought battle, the Lady Rockets still took home a two-set win. In the first set, both teams played hard, but Okawville still came out on top, winning 25-18. In the second set, Farina South Central put up a good fight, but in the end the Lady Rockets came out on top 25-22, advancing to the regional championship. On Thursday, October 30, the Varsity Lady Rockets took home another regional title. Going into the first set, the Lady Rockets were determined to take a first-set win 25-20. In the second set, both teams wanted the win, but Okawville ended up coming out with it, 25-23. The Varsity Lady Rockets will continue post-season play on Tuesday, November 4, at the Raymond-Lincolnwood Sectional.
