On February 6th, Mr. Berg took a group of 21 FFA members to attend the FFA night basketball game at SIUC. The members receive a free coupon for a drink, a pretzel, or a hot dog, and a shirt. It was a very good experience for the FFA members and demonstrated how truly appreciated they are in the community. The agriculture program at SIUC is trying to expand, so having events like this one will help make that possible. It is also a good way to get students exposed to SIUC as a college they may consider. Overall, more than 500 FFA members attended, which was a strong turnout. Okawville was happy to attend!
